Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) is a novel martial and cultural industry that encompasses archaeological reconstruction, cultural heritage, and combat sports.

Through various approaches such as archaeological excavations, historical documents, martial arts studies, and live blade cutting tests, we attempt to reconstruct the martial arts systems of the past. Different interpretations have emerged based on the research of various groups.

Over two days, we have arranged a variety of activities including static lectures and dynamic workshops . From beginners to advanced practitioners, everyone is welcome to participate. The most diverse European martial arts are all here at our annual event!

Clash of Steel Highlights

★Various Courses–
Course content includes literary lectures, longsword, sabre, rapier, dagger, and wrestling techniques, among others. 

★Longsword/Rapier Open Tournament–
Bringing international competitions to Taiwan, allowing Taiwanese HEMA practitioners to connect with the international scene without leaving the country!

★Free Exchange–
Fencers from different clubs and countries compete on the field and make friends off the field! 

★Booth Exhibition–
Various types of booths, from HEMA equipment to European-style decorative items, allow everyone to have fun and appreciate.
